Thanks, yeh, I know well enough that just because someone has never had an allergic reaction they still can. My BFF had that happen to her last year. Luckily she went to the E/R. right away. Moto is doing much better. She and the kids are still congested but not like before. It was strange because I had talked to her about an hour before and she said she was going to lie down. She woke up in this coughing fit that hit her so quickly. Thank God she had the inhaler on hand. I had her do two treatments 20 min apart. To keep her airway open and get it all out. I knew it was ok to do that.
My son's boss had given him and epipen but I also said no way were we doing that if it was not needed and with out being monitors because it sends your heartrate up.
I dropped son off and then parked to car. When I went in they had him sitting in the waiting room. I said what are you doing there. He said they were waiting to get the person to check him in. I said, oh no you are not! Although his heart rate and pulse were fine, I was taking no chances. So a nurse walked by and I told her the situation and she got him right in so they could monitor his vitals. (and at lease check his throat for swelling.
