That is nice of you to apologize to Colty, idoiwill.

But we "rich" Americans are just as tired of hearing how selfish we are too. Not everyone who makes $250,000 a year gets a golden parachute. In fact, many of us get that salary through hard work and personal sacrifice. And I honestly never heard or read anyone say that someone who makes less than $250,000 a year is "lazy". And it's hard to know people are itching to get in our pockets.

The finger pointing and name calling is coming from both sides.

But it was nice of you to apologize to Colty. Her husband works hard. He actually would never be called "lazy" by anyone.

I haven't called anyone selfish, and I don't think anyone is lazy. But I do think that the rich have historically paid more in taxes than they do today. I also think our society functions better with a stronger middle class, and with less wealth concentrated at the top (1% of the population controls 40% of the wealth).
