Remember, when Jimmy Carter raised taxes in the late 1970s, unemployment & inflation went into double digit figures. So did borrowing interest rates. i remember that, interest rates for mortgates were like 15%, can you imagine that now? No, and it's just plain fear mongering and negativity. We're not going to get anything like that under an Obama presidency. He hasn't talked about raising taxes. Hasn't he assured us that we're entering into an era of Utopia? What happened to all your great expectations about your $500 tax "refund" it's not a $500 tax refund. it's a total refund of all my taxes withheld, because since i'm a senior citizen, and i make less than $50 grand a year in my retirement, obama says i won't have to pay any federal income tax at all, and that's a savings to me of about $6 grand. so be sure to work extra hard in the future, so you can cover my share of federal taxes. Ha. I'm not going to pay your share of the taxes. I think you're dreaming considering yourself a senior citizen. You're under 60. I'm thinking the first thing Obama will do, with the help of congress, is raise the senior citizen age for benefits up to 85. All you're going to get back is that $500 promised welfare handout, which I probably will be paying for. Oh, this is funny. McCain supporters are sniping at each other now.
