I was being sarcastic. I don't think anyone should starve, and I don't think anyone who is out of work and needing government assistance is
"lazy". I did apologize profusely in the other topic, but will apologize here as well.
For anyone thinking that I was serious, I am sorry.
For those who thought I was being sarcastic, you were right, but it was not appropriate on my part, so again, I am sorry.
I guess I keep getting tired of all this talk of lazy Americans and the redistribution of wealth. As if somehow, if you make under 250k a year, you are "lazy". Or even if you go on welfare, you are "lazy". Most people are not inherently lazy, at least most Americans that I know are not inherently lazy, including those on Welfare. There are some that are lazy, and some that are taking more than they should. But there are also the Golden Parachuters, who have put their companies at enormous risk, so they could increase their companies profits, and have bigger parachutes.
Welfare, is not a great system, and I don't agree with it, but I do think we need a better safety net, and I do think that when hard working Americans need help, while rich Americans are getting richer, we are in precarious situation.
So Colty, I don't know you, and I don't know about your situation. I try never to post disparaging about anyone personally, except those public figures that are getting involved in this campaign.
