In these uncertain economic times and with wars on two fronts, it was nice to know that where the White House dog comes from is of great concern to our President-elect and to the idiot media who no doubt asked the question that raised that answer.

Is levity never allowed?? I'm sure people who do rescue work were thrilled that the Obamas plan to adopt a shelter dog. Now, more than ever, light must be cast on the fate shelter animals face if not adopted and seeing the First Family choose a shelter dog over a breeders or pet stores could just inspire others to do the same. I think it's great.

I think it's great. Was there any levity in his comments? I heard them and they sounded downright sober. No hint of humor, even in the "mutt" line he delivered.

Why do I have the feeling that absolutely nothing Obama says or does or will say or will do will get any kind of positive reaction from you?

As he said, there is only one president at a time. This is not the time to undermine the current administration, what good would that do??? Cause more anxiety for all. He had plans for when he does take office. I think the conference was good idea, to show he's taking this seriously and is starting to plan for the transition. The one question from the gal from CNN about the security issues and his opinion... I liked how he didn't want to comment..very appropriate...
