For the people who detest smoking and do everything in their power to stop it from being legal, it doesn't matter if you smoke 1 cig or 1 pack a day. And anyone who has ever been addicted to smoking (like Obama) knows that you can't keep smoking 1 cigarette a day if you want to quit. Obama has not said how many cigarettes he's smoking each day. In fact, he has flat out refused to say how many he smokes a day, and where exactly it is that he's smoking them (other than to say that he won't do it in front of his family). Gibbs won't say how many he smokes either, only says it's an ongoing, daily struggle. So in other words, nobody knows what that "95% smoke free" even means. Obama smokes, and I defend his right to smoke.

Like someone else on here said, people who hated Bush continued to call him a drunk and an alcoholic many years after he had his last drink. Once a smoker who's addicted, always a smoker. That's why people don't sneak cigarettes after they quit.

Bush was still an alcoholic, which is why he never took another drink after he quit drinking. Obama, if he's smart and wants to quit, will really quit. But as I said before, I will defend the man's right to smoke. It's the liberals who have pushed most of the anti-smoking laws in the country. He needs to explain to them - not me.

Next thing you know they will pass laws forbidding the drinking of alcohol in bars. You'll have to take your drink outside and sit beside the smokers to drink.. what a world, what a world...
